The Excellence Wireless HDMI Kit | 3D provides wireless transmission of picture and sound signals over distances of up to 30 m*. The kit supports Full HD, 3D and multi-channel audio formats. The set includes a transmitter and a receiver which are connected to the source or the TV via the HDMI interface. For ease of use, commands from IR remote controls can be transmitted back to the source via the return channel and the included IR sensors. The transmitter also has an HDMI output with a loop-through function. A TV positioned near to the source can be connected to the output at the same time.
The set then functions as an HDMI splitter. The transmitter and receiver are powered using the supplied power supply units via micro USB sockets. They can also be powered via free USB sockets, such as on a Blu-ray player or a TV. However, this requires USB-A with Micro B cables (not included) and the USB socket must supply at least 1 A.
